We are here!!!!

For those family and friends who may not know, us Hicks have taken our adventures to the great state of Texas. Have have left all of our wonderful family and great friends behind :( But we know that this was right for us right now. My parents, me and the boys all arrived on Sunday August 5th, while Les and his dad arrived the day before with our truck load of stuff. It was so nice to have everything unloaded before me and the boys arrived.

My dad stayed with us until Tuesday the 7th and then my mom was able to stay with us until Friday the 10th. What a blessing that was to have my parents with us to help us get settled and also for Les' dad to drive down with him the truck. We wouldn't have been able to do it without them. I am going to try to be very good about posting the different adventures we come across in our new home. This is the first time we will be so far from home, so I hope that this blog becomes very useful. Love ya all
