Oh Happy Day!!!!!!
Last month Audrey started Nursery!!!!!! All LDS (Latter-day Saint) moms know that this is a very blessed time in our lives :) For those who are not LDS, Nursery is the class in our church that our little ones can start going to when they turn 18 months. Nursery takes place during the Sunday school hour and then during the hour that all of us women have a gospel class together (also during that hour all the men have a gospel class together). So, now I can go to class without my little girl wiggling and running all over the place. Not to mention it is a chance for her to play and learn some stories about Jesus too. Of course, now this means that I need to be good and actually go to all of my classes :) This is something that I really need to work on.
I just loved that it was her first day and she was totally doing the motions along with the other kids in the class. (She had only visited the class once before this with Dad.) I just love my baby girl.
Here she is doing the little song before they have a snack.

Putting up the Christmas Tree
Last week for Family Home Evening we finally put up our Christmas Tree. The kids were really hounding us and I of course wanted to have it up too. It is kind of crazy because I swear since we used it in Texas the last time to putting it up now I think the tree has totally shrunk. Of course it hasn't, but it sure does look smaller than it used to.
Audrey again, helping with the lights

The boys really wanted to help and as parents of course we wanted them to help too. I know that it looks like Les is bored, but really he was having the time of his life :)

This is the best final shot I have and I didn't realize that it had the antique look, oh well. Hopefully you get the idea.

Audrey making sure that we got all the pieces out, she is such a great helper

Halloween
Ok, so believe it or not I don't have any pictures of my kids in their Halloween Costumes this year. I know, I know Mother of the Year award over here! I do think that I have some on my mom's camera though. We moved into our house the week before Halloween so, things were pretty hectic. *Again, these pictures are from my phone, so they aren't the best.
It was Halloween day and we still hadn't carved any pumpkins yet. (A activity that my kids would not let me forget about.) In fact, we didn't have any pumpkins period. I rounded up all the boys and we set out on a search for some pumpkins. I really didn't want to get any that were to big because I knew they would take forever to carve. Thankfully Heaven was shining down on us because I found the most perfect sized pumpkins for my little kiddies to carve.

A Peek into the House
Ok, these pictures aren't the greatest because they are from my phone. My camera had a run in with some sand and I feel as though the sand has won. I only have a few pictures because everything isn't exactly done yet. I have only put a few things on the walls so far. I actually have a pretty good idea about what I want to do decorating wise, but my money tree in the backyard isn't cooperating so I have to do it a little at a time :) So anyways, here is a little taste of our house.
The previous owners left their couches for us and so I had to immediately buy some slipcovers for them. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy that we have them otherwise, you would be looking at a very empty room.
Sorry about the bright light. I tried to take the picture with the light off, but it was just way to dark. See that clock there? I was so excited to get it because that is what I had envisioned for that wall. Both the clock and the mirror in the Living Room are from Home Goods. Man I love that store.
Not much to tell here. Although I was pretty excited to get the candle holder for super Clearance at Kohl's. Also, I made the Families Are Forever plaque like 3 or 4 years ago at a Super Saturday and this is the first time that we have actually hung it up. There were already a couple of screw in the brick so, we thought it was the perfect place for it.
Side view of Family Room
Again, sorry about the bright light. We are borrowing the lamp (because we have none of our own) and we don't have a shade for it. We bought these couches with some of our rebate money. Let me just tell you, I love them!!!! They are so comfortable. Maybe some day I will take a better picture of them. Either that or you will just have to come visit to see them :)

Crowned Loser of Blogging
I have pretty much been the worlds worst blogger and I totally know that. I want to be better, I really do. I have so so so much to blog about and I think that is why I haven't done any yet. It just gets so overwhelming when I think about all the stuff I need to post that I just keep putting it off.
Some people may not know this, but we moved at the end of October. Les and I finally took the plunge and bought our very own first house. So, I promise to blog about that soon and maybe even throw a few pictures in there :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!!!!!
Today is our Logan's 4th Birthday. We could not be any happier that we were blessed to have Logan join our family 4 years ago. He has been nothing but a wonderful part of our family. Here are a few little facts about him:
He loves Spider Man
He loves pretty much every other super hero too
He loves to play the Wii and especially the game Super Smash Brothers
If anyone ever says that kids don't get excercise by playing video games, then they have never watched Logan play the Wii.
He loves spending time with his brothers.
He is super sweet with his little sister and is never mean or hostile toward her.
He has a smile that could melt anyones heart.
He has the most beautiful big brown eyes.
He loves going to preschool, especially since his cousin Wesley is in his class.
He has a mom and dad that love him so much and couldn't be more happier to have him as their son.
We love you Logan and HAPPY BIRTHDAY again!!!!!!!!!

Audrey Turns 1!!!!!!!!!!
*I feel like such a bad mom because Audrey turned 1 years old on May 22nd and I am just now blogging about it.
My baby girl turned 1 years old on May 22nd. I just can't believe that the day has already come. We didn't do much on her actual birthday, but we did have a big party a week later. We invited some friends and family over and had a great time. Before I get into the party pictures, I wanted to tell some of the things that Audrey is doing now a days.
-She is 22.6 lbs and 30 in. long.
-She is walking all over the place and has been doing so for about a week now. Before that she would walk, but she would still crawl a lot. Now, she pretty much never crawls.
-She yells and babbles all the time.
-She has her top 4 and bottom 4 front teeth (which she has had for quite a while) and she also has 4 molars.
-She does great with a cup and never uses a bottle.
-She adores her mother and always has a smiling face for her.
-She loves to play with her brothers and likes to get in on the action when they are playing.
-She is an awesome napper, but is still working on sleeping completely through the night.
-She loves big people food and wants nothing to do with baby food, except for baby cereal.
-She loves being outside and has even gotten better about walking in the grass. (Before, she didn't want the grass to touch her.)
-Her dad can really make her laugh.
-Whenever she hears music she can't help but to start shaking it and bouncing.
-She has enough hair for a very cute ponytail on the top of her head or for two very little pig tails.
-She likes to rip out her pony tails and barrettes.
-She is such a wonderful part of our family and we all feel blessed everyday to have her with us.
Now to the party pictures.......
You can't tell from the picture, unless you click to enlarge it, but we did a flower theme.
I was pretty happy with the cake I made. I rented a flower cake mold, which made it so easy.
Here is the birthday girl taking a turn to hit the flower pinata. She had some help from her daddy.
Logan showing us his awesome batting skills.
Look at Parker go!!!!!!
Bradyn with his power swing. He was the first one to crack it open. (The boys had their opening day for baseball that morning so, that is why they are all in their uniforms. I will blog about that later.)
When the pinata finally fell, it didn't let all the candy out so, here is my friend Lisa dumping the rest out for the crowd of kids we had there.
Audrey is having her very first sucker that she got from the pinata. Let me tell you, she really did enjoy it too.
Here she is looking at her own personal cake. I made a smaller version of the big flower cake so that Audrey would have one all to herself to do what she wanted with it.
She dug right in!!!!!!!

However, this is pretty much all she did with it. I think she may have put a little bit in her mouth, but that is about it.
Present time!!!!!!
She really enjoyed this balloon and ball. It is so funny to watch her play with a ball sometimes. It is almost like she is a little puppy because when she was crawling she would chase it around.

Preschool Graduation
Today was Graduation at Parker and Logan's preschool. I always love going to this event because it is just so cute to watch. They had a Candyland theme and the decorations were great. I am not posting that many pictures because something is going on with the printer right now and since that is how I upload my memory card I can't get my pictures onto the computer. My friend Lisa posted these pictures online and so I just copied them. (Thanks Lisa) I will put more pictures up later since I don't have any of Logan right now.
Here is Parker with his fellow graduates. He is the 3rd from the right if you can't tell. Don't you just love those little cap and gowns? I remember when Bradyn wore it 2 years ago. So cute!!!!! Logan was sitting on the other side of the stage with the rest of the kids who will not be moving on to Kindergarten next year.
Here is Parker with his "girlfriend" Brooklyn, but don't tell him that :) We spend a lot of time with Brooklyn and her mom Lisa so, they are great little friends. I have been so lucky to have Lisa to hang out with a ton this year, it has really made the year super fun. Now that Parker and Brooklyn aren't going to preschool together anymore we won't see each other quite as much :( However, I know that the two of them are both so excited to start Kindergarten next year.

I think it was a real blessing that he had Parker with him for his first experience into the world of school.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!
On May 26th, 2001 we were married for Time and all Eternity in the Detroit Michigan Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. We were so in love and could not wait to be man and wife.Well, 8 years later...............
We are still madly in love and happy to be sealed for eternity.Today is our 8 Year Wedding Anniversary and I couldn't be more happy that I am married to this man. These past years have been great and full of adventure. We survived the student years and the beginning of the working years, which brought us to an adventurous year in the great state of Texas. Now we are getting ready to enter the student years again, but that is OK because at least this time he will be a student with a good full time job.
What have we accomplished during the last 8 years?
The greatest accomplishments anyone could ever accomplish. These 4 beautiful children!!!!! We have already been so blessed in these first 8 years together that I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
I love you Les and thank you for being such a wonderful and loving husband!!!!!!

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LES!!!!!! That's right, he turned the big 3-0 today. I can't believe that I am married to such an old man :) Today the 3 youngest came with me and had lunch with Dad in his classroom. They were really excited that it was his birthday and that we were going to have lunch with him. The school rescheduled a rained out meet for today so, we weren't expecting to be able to have dinner together (something that I wasn't very happy about by the way). Luckily, it didn't run to late and we were all still able to eat together and enjoy some cake.
