Happy Birthday Parker

Today was our Parker's 6th Birthday! I know I say this every time one of my kids has a birthday, but man I cannot believe that he is already 6 years old. The kids did not have school today so, it was kind of a long day that was filled with arguing and fighting. However, Parker was so excited that it was his Birthday. He kept saying, "I'm 6 now" it was so darn cute.

For his Birthday we decided that we were going to go to the movies. I knew it would be easier then a Party at home (not necessarily cheaper though). He has 2 little friends in his Kindergarten class that he just loves and he always talks about them so, I told him that he could invite them. Also, he has a friend Lucas that he loves playing with and Lucas has a brother who is good friends with Bradyn so, he invited both of them too. It was my brother's weekend to have his boys Jackson and Wesley so, luckily they were able to come too. The boys have been so excited all week for this and I was too. I knew that we were going to have a ton of fun. We decided to make a goody bag for each child to have during the movie. We had paper lunch bags with some candy, each boy got their own pop and we also had lunch bags that we filled with popcorn. It was great!

Even Logan had a friend there (his cousin Wesley)

The Whole Crew After the Movie
After the movie we brought all the boys back to our house for cupcakes and presents. However, as we were getting in the car to go home Parker had been complaining that he ate to much and that his stomach hurt. While I was loading my car (we took two cars since I can't fit 9 boys in my van), I could tell in Parker's face that he wasn't doing well. I asked him if he was going to throw up and he nodded yes. I hurried him out of the car as quickly as possible and just barely got him out before he totally threw up. I felt so bad that this happened to him on his Birthday, but I was just so thankful that we weren't still in the Theater and that we hadn't started driving yet. After he threw up he felt much better and said that his stomach didn't hurt anymore (well of course not, since the contents of it was now on the ground in the parking lot).
When we got back home he perked up for presents. Grandma was there because she was watching Audrey (Thank You Grandma) and Grandpa was there because we had him come with us to the Movies (this way there was one more adult amongst the sea of boys). Uncle Jason and Aunt Crystal came to pick up Jackson and Wesley and Melissa and Jim came too because they just plain love Parker. We had a great group there to sing Parker Happy Birthday and I think he loved it. I am so happy that his friends, brothers and a couple of his cousins were able to come with us tonight and help Parker have a very fun Birthday (except for the whole throwing up thing).
For anyone that may be wondering, the boys were awesome during the movie. So well behaved!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARKER!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SO HAPPY THAT YOU ARE PART OF OUR FAMILY!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOGAN!!!!!

Today is our Logan's 4th Birthday. We could not be any happier that we were blessed to have Logan join our family 4 years ago. He has been nothing but a wonderful part of our family. Here are a few little facts about him:

He loves Spider Man
He loves pretty much every other super hero too
He loves to play the Wii and especially the game Super Smash Brothers
If anyone ever says that kids don't get excercise by playing video games, then they have never watched Logan play the Wii.
He loves spending time with his brothers.
He is super sweet with his little sister and is never mean or hostile toward her.
He has a smile that could melt anyones heart.
He has the most beautiful big brown eyes.
He loves going to preschool, especially since his cousin Wesley is in his class.
He has a mom and dad that love him so much and couldn't be more happier to have him as their son.

We love you Logan and HAPPY BIRTHDAY again!!!!!!!!!

Audrey Turns 1!!!!!!!!!!

*I feel like such a bad mom because Audrey turned 1 years old on May 22nd and I am just now blogging about it.

My baby girl turned 1 years old on May 22nd. I just can't believe that the day has already come. We didn't do much on her actual birthday, but we did have a big party a week later. We invited some friends and family over and had a great time. Before I get into the party pictures, I wanted to tell some of the things that Audrey is doing now a days.
-She is 22.6 lbs and 30 in. long.
-She is walking all over the place and has been doing so for about a week now. Before that she would walk, but she would still crawl a lot. Now, she pretty much never crawls.
-She yells and babbles all the time.
-She has her top 4 and bottom 4 front teeth (which she has had for quite a while) and she also has 4 molars.
-She does great with a cup and never uses a bottle.
-She adores her mother and always has a smiling face for her.
-She loves to play with her brothers and likes to get in on the action when they are playing.
-She is an awesome napper, but is still working on sleeping completely through the night.
-She loves big people food and wants nothing to do with baby food, except for baby cereal.
-She loves being outside and has even gotten better about walking in the grass. (Before, she didn't want the grass to touch her.)
-Her dad can really make her laugh.
-Whenever she hears music she can't help but to start shaking it and bouncing.
-She has enough hair for a very cute ponytail on the top of her head or for two very little pig tails.
-She likes to rip out her pony tails and barrettes.
-She is such a wonderful part of our family and we all feel blessed everyday to have her with us.

Now to the party pictures.......

You can't tell from the picture, unless you click to enlarge it, but we did a flower theme.
I was pretty happy with the cake I made. I rented a flower cake mold, which made it so easy.

Here is the birthday girl taking a turn to hit the flower pinata. She had some help from her daddy.
Logan showing us his awesome batting skills.
Look at Parker go!!!!!!
Bradyn with his power swing. He was the first one to crack it open. (The boys had their opening day for baseball that morning so, that is why they are all in their uniforms. I will blog about that later.)

When the pinata finally fell, it didn't let all the candy out so, here is my friend Lisa dumping the rest out for the crowd of kids we had there.

Audrey is having her very first sucker that she got from the pinata. Let me tell you, she really did enjoy it too.
Here she is looking at her own personal cake. I made a smaller version of the big flower cake so that Audrey would have one all to herself to do what she wanted with it.

She dug right in!!!!!!!

However, this is pretty much all she did with it. I think she may have put a little bit in her mouth, but that is about it.
Present time!!!!!!
She really enjoyed this balloon and ball. It is so funny to watch her play with a ball sometimes. It is almost like she is a little puppy because when she was crawling she would chase it around.

"This is such a fun party mom and dad, thanks for having my friends over" -Audrey

"Mom, I know you think these are so cute, but get them off my face"- Audrey
All and all it was a great party and I am so thankful for all those who could make it to celebrate with us.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our sweet little girl!!!!! We sure do love you!!!!

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LES!!!!!! That's right, he turned the big 3-0 today. I can't believe that I am married to such an old man :) Today the 3 youngest came with me and had lunch with Dad in his classroom. They were really excited that it was his birthday and that we were going to have lunch with him. The school rescheduled a rained out meet for today so, we weren't expecting to be able to have dinner together (something that I wasn't very happy about by the way). Luckily, it didn't run to late and we were all still able to eat together and enjoy some cake.

Such a pro at blowing out Birthday candles!!!!! He has had many many many years of practice, 30 years to be exact :)
Look at all those happy kids. They love their dad so much!!!!! They are so lucky to be blessed with a dad who truly loves and cares for them. Thanks for being so wonderful to our babies.

Happy Birthday to the love of my life!!!!!! Thanks for being such a supportive and loving husband. Here's to celebrating many, many more birthdays together.

Happy Birthday Bradyn

It's hard to believe that 7 years ago my Bradyn was this tiny. (I know the picture isn't very clear, but it was the best I had that I could post.) Seven years ago my little Bradyn decided to enter the world 5 weeks early at 5lbs 0.5ozs. Because of this (being 5 weeks early, not the 5lbs part) he had a little bit of trouble breathing and he had some low blood pressure issues. So, that meant he had to spend a week in the NICU. Thankfully the hospital he was born at had an awesome NICU, in fact it was the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. So, we felt blessed about that.

Needless to say, that was the longest week of our lives. For the first few days I couldn't even go into the NICU without breaking down in tears. It just wasn't suppose to be that way right, I never imagined that we would be leaving the hospital without our sweet little baby. Now, I know how blessed we were that we didn't have a baby with serious health problems, but it was still so hard for us. Thankfully, after that week in the NICU, he was PERFECTLY healthy. We had a little speed bump with some dehydration issues, but once we tackled that one it was smooth sailing. He quickly starting growing and...........

....... Hasn't stopped yet. Which is just the way we like it :) Two days ago he lost his first top tooth. Now this puts the count at 3 total teeth lost.

These are the cupcakes we made for Bradyn to take into his class today. He was so excited that it was his birthday and he got to bring in a treat. We got this airbrushing food dye to spray over the white frosting. I think it could be really cool once I get the hang of it. It seems like you have to do it just right or it will turn out kind of funky. In the end, they turned out pretty great and the two younger boys and Audrey came with me to Bradyn's class this afternoon and we delivered the cupcakes. I think the boys really liked seeing Bradyn's class and I think his class liked seeing Bradyn's siblings.
HAPPY BIRHTDAY BRADYN!!!!!!!!! We love you and are so happy to have you as part of our Eternal Family.
